Grand Theft Auto V Lore

Lore for Grand Theft Auto V on GtaHub.

2008 - Liberty City

Luis Lopez navigates the glamorous nightclub scene while keeping his boss Tony Prince alive and solvent.

Luis Fernando Lopez is the business partner and bodyguard of Tony Prince (known as "Gay Tony"), the owner of Liberty City's two hottest nightclubs. Their story brings glamour and spectacle to GTA IV's gritty world.

Tony Prince

Tony Prince built Liberty City's nightclub empire - Maisonette 9 (the most exclusive club in the city) and Hercules. But years of excess have left him in massive debt to gangsters, struggling with drug addiction, and in danger of losing everything. Luis is the only person keeping Tony alive.

Ray Bulgarin

Russian mobster Ray Bulgarin is one of Tony's creditors and a major antagonist. Bulgarin previously appeared in GTA IV's main story as someone from Niko's past. In TBoGT, he's more dangerous than ever - funding criminal operations and threatening Tony's life.

Over-the-Top Action

Where GTA IV is grounded and TLAD is gritty, TBoGT is explosive. Luis skydives from helicopters, escapes from exploding yachts, races through the streets in supercars, and engages in massive shootouts. The expansion deliberately contrasts GTA IV's more serious tone.

Yusuf Amir

Yusuf Amir is a billionaire Arab property developer and one of TBoGT's most entertaining characters. Obsessed with excess and pop culture, Yusuf tasks Luis with increasingly absurd missions - including stealing a military helicopter and a subway car. He becomes one of Luis's most valuable allies.

Everyone is a snake. But it's about finding the ones who won't bite.
