Grand Theft Auto V Lore

Lore for Grand Theft Auto V on GtaHub.

2008 - Liberty City

Johnny Klebitz leads the Lost MC through internal war and betrayal as the brotherhood crumbles.

Johnny Klebitz, vice president of the Lost MC's Alderney chapter, struggles to hold the gang together when president Billy Grey returns from rehab with a death wish for the club.

Billy Grey Returns

Billy Grey, the Lost MC's president, returns from court-ordered rehab and immediately starts trouble. He breaks the truce with the Angels of Death motorcycle gang, steals their heroin, and makes reckless decisions that put the entire club at risk. Johnny tries to maintain order, but Billy undermines him at every turn.

The Brotherhood Fractures

The Lost MC splits between those loyal to Johnny (who wants stability) and those loyal to Billy (who wants chaos). Billy's erratic behavior - including allying with the Triads and antagonizing every faction in Liberty City - pushes the club toward destruction.

Billy's Arrest & Betrayal

Billy is arrested during a Triad ambush and becomes a government informant, agreeing to testify against the Lost MC. Johnny must deal with this betrayal while also handling Ray Boccino, who is using the Lost MC for his diamond scheme.

The End of the Lost

Johnny kills Billy during a courthouse assault to prevent his testimony. The Lost MC survives, but is severely weakened. Johnny's story continues tragically in GTA V, where Trevor Philips kills him in Sandy Shores - a shocking scene that demonstrated GTA V's willingness to discard previous protagonists.

Brothers for life, Lost forever.
