Salvatore Leone is one of the most prominent recurring characters in the 3D Universe, appearing in GTA San Andreas, Liberty City Stories, and GTA III.

San Andreas (1992)

Salvatore runs Caligula's Palace casino in Las Venturas, overseeing the Leone family's interests in the gambling capital. CJ encounters him while planning the casino heist with Woozie. Salvatore represents the Italian Mafia's grip on Las Venturas during this period.

Liberty City Stories (1998)

Set three years before GTA III, Salvatore is consolidating his control over Portland with the help of Toni Cipriani. He battles the Sindacco and Forelli families, deals with internal power struggles, and establishes the Leone family as the dominant force in Portland. His wife Maria and his paranoia are already key character traits.

GTA III (2001)

By 2001, Salvatore is the aging Don of the Leone family. He hires Claude as an enforcer but becomes increasingly paranoid - especially about Claude's relationship with Maria. After attempting to have Claude killed, Salvatore is assassinated on orders from Asuka Kasen, with Claude pulling the trigger.
